Patrick Boocock is a Managing Partner and Head of Asia, with responsibility for Brookfield’s investment and asset management activities across the region.
Mr. Boocock brings 20 years of private equity and infrastructure investment and operational experience to his role. Since joining Brookfield in 2009, he has held a number of senior positions, including Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield’s global construction company and Managing Director of an Australian natural gas transmission and distribution portfolio, where he was responsible for the restructuring and ultimate sale of the group. Mr. Boocock previously held various senior positions in the infrastructure financing and development sector in Canada.
Mr. Boocock holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with honors, from McMaster University in Canada. He is a Chartered Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

Keiji Hattori is a Senior Vice President and Head of Japan in Brookfield’s Private Funds Group. In this role, he is responsible for building institutional investor relationships in Japan, including capital raising and post investment, investor relationship monitoring.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Hattori was at Credit Suisse where he oversaw capital raising efforts across Asia and established operations for the third-party placement agent team. Mr. Hattori built his investment banking career, focusing on M&A advisory and principal investments, at several global financial institutions including Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
He currently serves as Adjunct Professor and Faculty Partner of GLOBIS Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Hattori holds a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University and a MBA from Columbia University Business School.

Shigeki Kimura is Senior Advisor of Brookfield Asset Management since November 2017.
Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Kimura had been the Managing Executive Officer and Global Head of Industry Finance Group of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) from June 2013 until June 2017. During that period, he headed JBIC’s financing/investment group and supported Japanese companies’ overseas investments through providing M&A Financing for cross-border M&As, project financing, equity financing, private equity investments, and financing for Japanese SMEs’ overseas investments.
Prior to joining JBIC, Mr. Kimura held various senior positions at Ministry of Finance, Cabinet Secretariat covering wide range of areas including international finance and national security issues and worked for international financial institutions including the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank as a senior manager..
Mr. Kimura graduated from the Law Faculty of Tokyo University. He is registered as Attorney at Law.
